Office 365 - Student Advantage - Mac Installation

From Moodle click "Student E-mail" or navigate to, this takes you to the Office365 Portal Page

Login with your student id followed by and enter your college email password

This takes you to the Office 365 Outlook Web App Page. Next to your name which is in the top right hand corner, click on the Settings button and select the last option (Office 365 Settings)

In the next window, click on the 'software' link on the left hand side and then make sure "Office" is selected (shown by arrow 1) and review the system requirements (arrow 2)

And if you are happy, select install button (arrow 3)

This will download the Office 2011 DMG file to your MAC, Install this DMG as you would any other MAC software.

Once installed, run the Office Setup Wizard. Office programs are now ready to use.​

** When asked to sign in at the install process, you must sign in with your student login as described above.  **

In order the software to maintain functionality, your PC needs to connect to the Internet at least once per month

*The subscription is only valid whilst you are a student at the college. Once you finish your course the software is set to reduced functionality mode and you will be required to purchase an upgrade product to continue using the software.
